Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) - A widely distributed network of domain experts, who review, evaluate and give suggestions for improvement, on the Knowledge artifacts submitted by employees. |

Mavens – The crème de la crème of Patni who take time in answering to specific queries raised within their area of expertise. |

 |
Knowledge Champion (K-Champ): An extended arm, a bridge between the BU and the KM team, who takes the lead in creating awareness and implementing the KM initiative within his/her business unit. |

Location Evangelist (LE): Evangelizes KM in his/her strategic location and supports the whole movement in co-ordination with the KM team. |

Road Shows: Every quarter the change management team reaches out to different locations within India and provides a firsthand update to Patni-ites wrt new module launch, KX awareness session, summary of future engagements. This usually happens in the cafeteria as an open-air session. |

Closed Room Session: A general know-how session such as K-Champ familiarity session, Mavens awareness session and other Walkthrough, to which selected groups are invited. |

K-Awards – Awards for: the highest contributor of artifacts across the organization and BU, highest rated artifact, most active maven, most active BU, most effective K-Champ, Busiest Communities of Practice, etc. |

KM Audit – A half-yearly activity of gauging the reach (reuse level at the business process level, sharing, quality & user interest level) and status of the KM initiative based on different roles and BU. |

Project Portals – A collaborative platform at the project level, which enables tapping of knowledge at the point of its generation. |
