The BPM Assessment Framework uses a Process Maturity Model™ to categorize an organization’s processes at four levels of maturity (Preliminary, Defined, Managed or Optimized) based on the traits exhibited by the process.

This framework uses a well-defined scientific methodology to peg an organization’s current and desired level of process maturity at one of the defined Process Maturity Stages.
