| Patni collaborates with BITS, Pilani for an MS in Embedded Systems |

Mumbai, October 23, 2007: Patni Computer Systems (BSE: PATNI COMPUT, NSE: PATNI, NYSE: PTI) has forged a strategic alliance with Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani for a two-year masters level degree in Embedded Systems for Patni employees, beginning September 2007. This will give Patni employees a platform to further their educational aspirations while continuing with their professional pursuits.
Patni signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BITS Pilani through the ‘BITS Off-Campus Distance Learning & Collaborative Programmes’ scheme to hone the skills of Patni employees for the growing Product Engineering Services (PES) division of the company.

In addition, Patni will also be a key partner to The Carphone Warehouse for developing next-generation systems for its global telecom and retail operations. These services will be delivered across pan-European locations by Patni’s global consultants and global delivery centres in India. |

Cambridge, MA, July 23, 2007 -- Patni Computer Systems (NYSE: PTI), a global IT services provider, announced the acquisition of Bridgewater, N.J.-based Taratec Development Corp. through Patni Computer Systems Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, for an aggregate price of $27.2 million in cash including contingent consideration. With more than $20m in annual revenues, Taratec is a leading consulting company in the life sciences industry providing integrated business, information technology, and regulatory compliance products and services.
This acquisition is in line with Patni's strategy of enhancing its market specific services and provides additional capability to support the
growing and diverse requirements of the Life Sciences market, from pharmacovigilance to demand-driven supply chains. Patni can now offer
a global delivery model that provides end-to-end capabilities complete
with established, life science expertise in specific, high-demand areas. |

Pune, June 27, 2007: Patni Computer Systems Inc., a leading global IT services provider and International Institute of Information Technology (I2IT), one of India's largest graduate schools, which specializes in areas of advanced information technology today, announced a partnership for collaborative research activities in the medical device domain. The partnership will initially focus on bio-image signal processing with an aim to develop reusable image processing libraries and explore complex algorithms in this niche area. It will gradually move to other technology areas such as Pattern recognition, Real-time Operating Systems and Embedded wireless devices
For this partnership, a team from Patni's Product Engineering Services division will actively work with students pursuing their M.S Program in Embedded Systems Design. | Patni completes successful ERP implementation at Bombay Stock Exchange |

India, Mumbai, March 12, 2007: Patni Computer Systems Ltd., a leading global IT services provider today announced the successful implementation of Oracle ERP Solutions at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The entire implementation, including multiple modules of Oracle Financials Suite and Core HRMS, was completed in a short span of 8 months. With this implementation, the BSE has a single integrated system that provides it a comprehensive real-time view of the organization.
As part of the implementation process, Patni undertook a detailed exercise to understand the existing legacy system at BSE and devised a two-phase change management roadmap to migrate BSE's financial accounting and HR accounting to the ERP system. Patni's project management skills, technical proficiency in deploying Oracle solutions and its understanding of the financial services industry proved to be the critical success factors in the completion of this challenging project. |
