Patni amongst the 'Giants' in CIO 100 |

Mumbai, September 11, 2006: Patni Computer Systems Ltd., a leading global IT consulting and services provider, announced that it received the CIO 100 Award at the CIO Symposium and Award ceremony in Mumbai. Patni was recognized as one of 'The Giant 100' companies at the first CIO 100 awards in India for demonstrating excellence in deploying technology solutions to deliver optimum business value.
CIO 100 is one of the most prestigious recognitions in the IT industry, with the awards running for over 19 years in US and this being the first in India. Officially referred to as the "CIO 100", the award is presented annually by IDG's CIO magazine.
Patni received the award for its technology farsightedness in building a Corporate Performance Management System (CPMS). This is based on an agile IT infrastructure that has the capability to monitor performance of its business units and fine-tune operations in accordance with the business goals.
