| Former IBM, Motorola Executive Brings 25 Years Experience in Global IT
CAMBRIDGE, MA -- December 04, 2007 -- Patni Computer Systems (NYSE: PTI), a global IT
services provider, today announced the appointment of IT industry veteran John Blyzinskyj as the
company’s new Senior Vice President, Manufacturing Services.
Mr. Blyzinskyj will oversee all sales efforts of the Manufacturing Services business unit in the
United States and will have business responsibilities throughout North America. He will work out
of Patni’s Cambridge, Mass., office in the U.S.
Mr. Blyzinskyj brings 25 years of senior management experience building, developing and leading
global IT sales and marketing operations for leading technology providers including IBM, Motorola
Europe and Hewlett-Packard.
At IBM, Mr. Blyzinskyj held roles as vice president, general manager and Business Unit executive
in the company’s European and North American operations.
Previously, Mr. Blyzinskyj served as UK director of marketing and European business
development manager for Motorola Europe. He also brings extensive experience working with
start-up companies building their business models and improving their operating performance.

Mr. Blyzinskyj holds a B. Sc in Electronic Engineering from the University of London and an MBA
from Cranfield Institute of Technology.
