TM Forum Management World India, 2008 |
Colin Orviss steps into TM Forum vice chairman role
New Delhi, March 31, 2008 -- Patni today announced that telecoms veteran, Colin Orviss, will chair the TM Forum Management World India 2008 conference sessions in New Delhi, India on 2nd and 3rd April 2008.
As chairperson, Colin Orviss will marshal an expert speaker panel comprising executives from top telecom operators in the region, for a focused debate on next-generation strategies for communications
services providers facing the combined challenges of both high suburban growth and increasingly saturated and competitive urban markets.
These discussions will address issues critical to the Indian telecoms ecosystem such as optimizing customer loyalty for retention and revenue growth, and determining winning technology choices to achieve the
cost-effective operation of innovative, profitable and high-quality new services and service delivery platforms.
With new service providers coming to the market there is an increasing need for services to be created and delivered quickly. These sessions
will deliver a unique insight into key business initiatives such as IT-led business transformation and enabling next generation services to create differentiated customer experiences.
Colin Orviss, Senior Vice-President, Patni Telecoms Consulting says:
“The global telecoms ecosystem is a rapidly changing entity – the Indian marketplace is setting new global benchmarks for telecoms growth, and because of this the eyes of the world are focused on the strategies being adopted by Indian network operators.
