Patni opens new EMEA headquarters to drive growth for outsourced IT and BPO services

Mumbai/London, 28 May, 2009: Patni Computer Systems (BSE: PATNI COMPUT, NSE: PATNI, NYSE: PTI), a leading global IT and BPO services provider, today opened its new EMEA headquarters, based at Heathrow in London. The investment in a new regional headquarters with dedicated operational facilities enables Patni to place an increased focus on helping businesses across Europe and the Middle East to achieve both operational efficiencies and continue to innovate in new products and services.
The new headquarters will be a home to the company’s UK employees and support Patni’s centres across Europe and the Middle East, including Germany, Finland, Sweden and The Netherlands. The Patni Building is is spread over nearly 14,000 sq ft and hosts a dedicated delivery centre together with business development and administrative functions. With 15 years’ experience servicing clients in this region, the building will provide a new facility for Patni to serve its extensive customer base through its industry-focused practices, which includes insurance, financial services, manufacturing, life sciences, telecommunications and media & entertainment, as well as its technology-focused practices.
