Product lifecycle support for world leading provider of Storage solutions
Patni team has been engaged in end-to-end Product Life Cycle support for Storage solutions that includes activities from R&D, standards-compliant development to Product sustenance. Key programs undertaken include Array Software engineering, Release-based Quality Assurance, Test Automation and 24 x 7 Engineering Support.

Product transformation support for major Japanese medical imaging corp.
Involved with the client in moving the legacy systems based on UNIX to Windows platform, PET-CT image processing, next generation CT system development, and common framework development for CT, MRI, Ultrasound and independent V&V reducing time-to-market.

IP based product development for manufacturer of portable telemedicine devices
Patni team developed a H264 based Video Streaming system for portable Telemedicine device to overcome various challenges like bandwidth constrains, video quality at 5fps, achieving CIF resolution and streaming on a satellite link.

Product development cycle activities for a leading design house for Mobile & Wireless communication products
Patni team delivered multiple projects involving application development using Windows Mobile and Symbian, BSP support for OEM specific boards, and implementation of SyncML protocol. Patni also delivered maintenance services to their wireless communication products in WiMAX technology.

Over past 7 years Patni team has been involved in the execution of multiple projects in various areas like Integrated Print System (IPS) Engineering and Testing, IPS Maintenance and Support, Enhancements for Laser MFP, Compiler Porting and optimization for various DSP(s), Boot Monitor development and Doxygen Documentation. 

Redundancy Module for industrial control operations
The development involved high speed hardware design, complex firmware development using RTOS, Communications Stack Development, FPGA-based VLSI development, PC-based configuration utility & complete V&V. This yielded a performance improvement of 2x at a significantly lower cost.

MES Implementation for car manufacturing company
Customization & Implementation of the MES solution and upgrading the existing control system. The upgrade activity involved adding more I/O’s, enhancing the functionality of operator interfaces and integrating a barcode-based automatic identification system. Patni also designed and implemented the assembly line controller which interacts with real time data and provides error proofing.

Development of software for advance safety features for leading OEM from USA
Patni team developed the software for advanced safety features like Collision avoidance subsystems. The team was also involved in System Integration and System verification and validation for this product. Patni’s model based development resulted in simplification of Maintainability, Extensibility, Testability & distributed software development. Productivity improvements were realized through judicious use of automation tool for development and testing.
