designs ahead of schedule.
The Challenge
Our customer's high-density Network Access system is based on several large
FPGAs that are substantially more complex than their previous generation,
including programmable processors and spread across multiple boards. To meet
their aggressive schedule, our customer needed to verify the design and avoid a
lengthy lab debug and integration phase. Our customer's engineers were used to
designing with little simulation, and relied heavily on lab debug. Our customer did
not have an existing verification methodology to use, and they lacked the
experience, time and money needed to develop it by themselves.
