A Fortune 200 specialty chemicals company with employee strength of over 17,000 with more than 100 manufacturing, technical research and customer service sites in 30+ countries and market presence in more than 100 countries.
The Challenge

The Solution
Study of all business processes for creation of the Business Process Master List (BPML) in Solution Manager formed the first phase of this project. Patni could foresee BPML serving as the backbone of all future rollouts. Patni consultants leveraged their expertise in Solution Manager to create the BPML. For this, the total requirement comprised of local legal and statutory requirements along with the critical business processes (even those that are not part of the global design).
All processes were analyzed for repeatability and reusability. Further, they were converted into templates for easy adoption in future projects. The phases, activities, and deliverables were transformed to a playbook for repeatability along with suitable templates.
