Getting Maximum Business Value out of ERP |
| |
| Abstract |
While the benefits from ERP systems have been well-documented, the expected ROI from
implementing ERP packages has not been satisfactory for many organizations. As most
ERP packages require extensive investments and form the backbone of an organization's
IT strategy, the failure of the ERP package to deliver the desired results can be disastrous.
This paper discusses the important factors, which are essential for delivering a positive
ROI from an ERP implementation.
The paper also highlights the significance of a Business
Process and Business Technology Optimization strategy for reducing the total cost of
ownership of an ERP implementation or upgrade.
