We have mapped over 2 million miles of road network from rural areas and repositioned in excess of 2.5 million road segments from detail city areas in US for the worlds leading supplier of navigation data. |

Patni has provided tax parcel mapping for several counties and municipalities in the US. We have successfully delivered over 5 million tax parcels till date. Largest projects include delivery of: 720,000 tax parcels for City of Chicago, IL; 550,000 parcels for Maricopa County, AZ; 180,000 tax parcels for New Jersey Pinelands Commission; 117,000 tax parcels for Lehigh County, to name a few. |

We have successfully deployed the onsite-offshore model for the maintenance of over 25 GIS applications, interfaced with various business applications, for one of the largest utility companies in Southern California. We edited over 4100 circuit maps to regain legibility and manage white space that was lost during migration process and parsing them thru OMS to establish connectivity. |

Patni supports the ongoing development of the GIS interface that is integrated with the existing aggregation software of a UK based insurance solution provider to facilitate map-based aggregation by linking insurance data with geographic location. |

One of our key customers is a Japanese conglomerate. Since 1997 we have been providing services for conversion of Japanese & English technical manuals from paper to various output formats like MS Word/HTML/SGML/XML. Till date we have completed data extraction using OCR for more than 80,000 pages and have converted over 170,000 pages from hardcopy format as well as soft copy format. We have also developed and enhanced tools for conversion of data from MS Word to HTML format. These tools are used in their in-house conversion processes to enhance productivity and accuracy and were developed using Visual Basic for Applications. |

By utilizing the VPN connectivity from offshore, we update, enhance and create template documents and reference table files for various Retirement Products for a large financial services company in the US. The work involves scripting in their proprietary scripting language. We average at around 2-3 enhancements on a per-day basis. |

We created interactive PDF forms using Adobe Acrobat. GUI is built on the PDF document by insertion of text boxes, combo and list boxes, radio buttons and check boxes, etc. Validating user input / interaction by writing Java scripts. Provided functionality to check user input for mandatory fields and store the filled data to a database, from the web, using ASP. |

Data Migration for US based content service provider. The scope of work involved migration of more than 10,000 client records, having 250+ fields per record, from customer website to SQL Server database. The entire data migration process was completed thru development of tools for data download, extraction and migration. |
