Session: Customer Forecasting Solutions with SAP APO
Speakers: Mr. John Vaughan, Gillette and
Mr. Raghu Mahalingam, Patni Computer Systems
Abstract: Both retailers and manufacturers are chasing
the consumers. In today's world of wide internet highways,
powerful data warehouses and large retailers you must learn
not only where the Consumer is buying but also how the Retailer's
are trying to feed them. The best Consumer Product Goods companies
are rapidly developing a POS Forecasting capability, combined
with Promotional Planning and inventory analysis to not only
simulate and understand their customers but to influence them
into buying smarter and getting leaner.
Three things that attendees will learn:
 |
Understanding the largest customers in your business
is critical to your success. |
 |
Once you prove you understand your large customers,
you can influence their behavior. |
 |
Technology and Global partners are ready to help you
deliver best-in-class solutions. |

Session: CRM and Customer Data Hub –
Is there a link?
Speaker: Mr. Eric Cramer, Vice President,
Patni Benelux
Abstract: We all know that to get a 360 degree
view of the customer, we need to have a unified view of the
customer across the organization. However, most organizations
have multiple and diverse systems to meet their specific business
needs and each if them maintains their own "view"
of the customer. Using its experience in providing such solutions
to customers, in this presentation Patni will identify some
of the business scenarios where the organization can reap
benefits of a consolidated customer data base, and some of
the common challenges that they are likely to face in doing
so.

Session: iProcurement- Key to Speedy Processing
Speaker: Ms. Seema Sharma, Patni
Consultant
Abstract: When one of the worlds’ largest
stock exchanges wanted to streamline its procurement process
it selected Oracle iProcurement to automate the process. The
key objective of the Oracle iProcurement implementation was
to reduce the time it took for purchasing agents to convert
a requisition into Purchase Order. The company wanted to leverage
the well-accepted web shopping models used by leading consumer
websites; provide express checkout for its frequent users;
provide a streamlined process that eliminated paper submissions
of requisitions and automated the approval process. It also
wanted the solution to tightly integrate the procurement system
with its Oracle Financials implementation. Patni assisted
the company in its iProcurement implementation. While presenting
this case study Patni will share the benefits of the iProcurement
solution, the typical challenges that an organization might
face and the best practices that Patni has developed for iProcurement
implementations.
