Abstract: Today almost all the organizations,
that have implemented Transaction Automation Systems like
ERP, look forward to invest in Decision Support Systems for
further productivity improvement. If few variables are involved
in a decision making process it becomes easy to measure performance
of a decision-making unit (Manufacturing Plant, Warehouse,
Supplier etc.) and take corrective action. But increased focus
on Supply Chain Management, has forced organizations to invest
in Supply Chain wide metrics. This has added new dimensions
of complexity to Business Analytics by increasing the number
of variables to be addressed. There are several tools available
in the market for Supply Chain Analytics, but most of them
either rely on sequential analysis of metrics or formulate
an index number for benchmarking across the industry. This
is not the right way because each decision-making unit may
have different policies for assigning weights to respective
performance measure. In this presentation, we suggest the
use of a Mathematical Programming Techniques like Data Envelopment
Analysis (DEA) for Supply Chain Analytics and also propose
the required architecture. This will help organizations to
use the same tool for integrated benchmarking
